- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup

- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 4 tbsp Butter

Preheat slow cooker to Low. Season pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and paprika. Place pork in slow cooker.

In a small bowl, whisk together bourbon glaze, maple syrup, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon butter. Pour glaze over pork.

Cook pork for 8-10 hours or until tender. Shred pork with two forks.

Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes or until caramelized.
