A flavorful and spicy South Indian soup originating from the city of Hyderabad, made with a tangy tomato-based broth, aromatic spices, and fresh herbs.
🛒 Ingredients
- 3 cups Fresh tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Tamarind paste
- 1 tsp Jaggery
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 1/4 cup Cilantro
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 2 cups Water

Step 1: Roast the cumin seeds and coriander seeds in a pan over medium heat until fragrant, then grind into a fine powder.

Step 2: Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté the ginger paste and garlic until fragrant.

Step 3: Add the tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir well and cook for 5 minutes.
