Kashmiri Chai Spice Churner
A sweet and creamy Indian beverage made with black tea, milk, and a blend of warming spices, traditionally served in the Kashmir region. This unique drink is perfect for cold winter nights and special occasions.

- 1 tea bag Black tea
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 sticks Cinnamon sticks
- 4 pods Green cardamom
- 1/2 tsp Cloves
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Ghee or butter

Step 1: In a medium saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer.

Step 2: Add 1 inch of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced, to the milk and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Remove the ginger slices and add 2 tea bags of black tea to the milk.

Step 4: Let the tea brew for 5-7 minutes or until it reaches your desired strength.

Step 5: Add 1/2 tsp of cloves and 1/4 tsp of nutmeg to the tea and stir well.

Step 6: Add 2 tbsp of sugar to the tea and stir until dissolved.

Step 7: Add 2 sticks of cinnamon and 4 green cardamom pods to the tea and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Step 8: Remove the tea from the heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 9: Strain the tea into a large mug or chai pitcher and discard the solids.
