🛒 Ingredients

  • 750g g Lamb shoulder
  • 2 cups Onion
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Garlic
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 cups Tomato puree
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri spice mix

👨‍🍳 Instructions

    Step 1: Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat, add cumin seeds and let it sizzle for a few seconds.

    Step 2: Add chopped onions and sauté until they are golden brown.

    Step 3: Add minced ginger and garlic and sauté for a minute.

    Step 4: Add lamb pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.

    Step 5: Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and Kashmiri red chili powder. Mix well.

    Step 6: Add tomato puree, yogurt, and ghee. Mix well.

💡 Pro Tips

For best results, use lamb shoulder with the bone. If you can't find Kashmiri red chili powder, use a combination of regular red chili powder and smoked paprika.
