  • 2 Green chilies
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1

Roast the red chilies and cumin seeds in a pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

  2. 2

Grind the roasted chilies, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger, cilantro, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt into a smooth paste.

  3. 3

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the onion and tomato until the onion is translucent.

  4. 4

Add the ground paste to the pan and mix well.

  5. 5

Add the coriander powder and garam masala to the pan and mix well.

  6. 6

Simmer the mixture for 5-7 minutes or until the oil separates from the mixture.

  7. 7

Add the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.

  8. 8

Check the seasoning and adjust the salt according to your taste.

  9. 9

Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and serve with Indian meals.

💡 Pro Tips

To make the chutney more intense, use 10-12 red chilies instead of 8. Avoid overroasting the chilies, as it can make the chutney bitter.
